League Ranking & Prizes
League Scores & Rankings
The league’s scoring methodology is designed to reward both performance and efficiency. There are two components to the formula.
Game Scores:
First is the “Game Score” which represents the rating for an individual game determined primarily by the number of floors descended in SKYHILL, supplemented by how efficiently the allotted time is used. The highest game scores are earned by those who successfully navigate down the floors in the shortest amount of time.
Game Score = Floor Score + Time Score
Floor Score = 100 - Lowest Floor Reached
Time Score = Minute Score + Second Score
Minute Score = Remaining Time Limit (minutes) x 0.01
Second Score = Remaining Time Limit (seconds) x 0.01 / 60
League Scores:
Second is the “League Score”. League scores are calculated as the average of the four median results calculated by considering your top six game scores, discarding the highest and lowest game, thereby highlighting consistent excellence rather than individual peak performances. The best strategy is to have at least six games completed with high game scores achieved for each game.
League Score = Average of your four top scores excluding the highest and the lowest score.
League Rankings:
Rankings are updated continuously in accordance with league scores throughout the season. The final ranking will be announced during the off day every Sunday at 12:00 UTC. In case of ties, tie-breaker rules are in effect. If two or more players complete the round with the same league scores.
The highest single game score will be prioritized.
If still tied, second-highest single game scores are compared, and so on.
Prizes: Chasing the Dream
Rewards are distributed based on both league tier and final ranking, with the total pool scaled to the total number of participants. Players can view expected prize amounts through the leaderboard in real-time, and final prizes are deposited directly into your account following the official announcement of results.
The prize system is based on three factors:
Skill Factor: The higher you rise, the sweeter your prize. (Score)
Stake Factor: The higher your stake, the more you take. (League tier)
Crowd Factor: The more that compete, the bigger the treat. (Number of challengers)
